Standardisation

The HDH coordinates the German standardisation work for the industries involved and works actively in the preparation and revision of standards at national (DIN), European (CEN) and global (ISO) level. Workshops initiated and held by the HDH prove to be particularly effective in the preparation and evaluation of standards projects. Information exchange, discussions and checking practical implementability under the premises of appropriate safety standards promote dialogue within the wood industry and advance standardisation projects purposefully. As active standardisation work is an important element of securing the economic location Germany, here the HDH works true to the motto: "Those who don't standardise, will be standardised"!"
