| The Main Association of the German Wood Industry ("Hauptverband der deutschen Holzindustrie" - HDH) represents the economic, political and technical interests of the timber, furniture and prefabrication industries. The spectrum here spans the entire supply chain of wood as a material. It includes everything from industrial woodworking and wood processing and the furniture industry to the construction of prefabricated buildings, including construction-related fields and wood packaging. The use of wood, a natural and versatile material, is the common factor in all interests represented. Since 1 July 2016, the HDH and its association of unions have been operating an office in the capital, Berlin. |
