The topic of health and safety ranks highly among the priorities of HDH member companies. The HDH participates in the definition of the political framework conditions for health & safety issues in the interests of the companies and their employees. Because of the permanent discours with politicians, the German Berufsgenossenschaften , the government accident insurance providers, machine manufacturers and other industries, joint solutions are drawn up for relevant aspects of health & safety, so that on the one hand employees receive the best possible protection and on the other hand the remaining production conditions are defined to enable high-quality products to be produced economically in Germany. The HDH's successful health & safety work is an important factor in the success of the wood and furniture industry.
