Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel, DGM, (German Furniture Quality Association)

The Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel, DGM, (German Furniture Quality Association) was founded in 1963. More than 100 members - furniture manufacturers and suppliers from Germany and abroad - have voluntarily committed themselves to meet the requirements of the DGM in the RAL quality system. These requirements do not only refer to longevity and perfect function, but also include the safety of the consumer, his health and the environmental compatibility of the production. Every single factor is thoroughly tested in independent testing institutes. The DGM only awards the "Golden M" to furniture that meets the high standards of quality and health compatibility.
